Growing Tips

Start seeds indoors 6-8 weeks before the last frost date, or sow directly outdoors once soil temperatures reach 70°F. Plant seeds 1/4 inch deep and keep soil consistently moist until germination. Thin seedlings to 12 inches apart for best growth. Once plants reach 6-8 inches tall, begin pinching the top leaves to encourage branching. Avoid letting plants bolt to seed if you want to maximize leaf production. Water regularly and provide at least 6 hours of direct sunlight per day.
