Growing Tips
- Direct sow outdoors after the last frost date, or sow in early fall in mild climates. Dill does not transplant well, so sowing in place is recommended.
- Choose a site with full sun and well-drained soil. Dill tolerates a range of soil types.
- Sow seeds about 1/4 inch deep and thin seedlings to 12-18 inches apart once they reach a few inches tall.
- Water regularly but avoid waterlogged conditions. Dill is fairly drought-tolerant once established.
