Growing Tips
- Direct sow seeds in loose, well-drained soil after the last frost date, or start a fall crop 10 to 12 weeks before the first expected frost.
- Sow seeds approximately 1/4 inch deep and 1 inch apart in rows spaced 12 inches apart.
- Thin seedlings to 3 to 4 inches apart once they reach about 2 inches tall to allow roots to develop fully.
