I make a morning smoothie with broccoli sprouts, berries, spinach, walnuts and almond milk. I use one tray at a time.
I soak the seeds overnight. Then I rinse the seeds and spread it on the tray over a sheet of paper towel and cover it from the light until they start germinating. Water it every morning. On the second or third day, the sprouts are visible, then open it to the light.
They’re ready after 5-6 days. I love it! Thank you!

It takes about 7 days to harvest
Mr. Pete
Seems to be pretty good for growing your own Brocco Sprouts.

These sprout to the best eating size in about 4 days. They are slightly spicy like mild radish and delicious

Excellent nourishment.

I bought these to use in my sprouting jars. They grew well and tasted great (I like sprouts). Sprouts are very nutrition and it was fun to watch them grow.

a good product that I like to eat for the health aspect but many fail to sprout . I have grown about 10 lots up to now and I am happy with the quality
Nancy
I used this for sprouting the seeds in a jar with a sprouting lid. Worked perfectly twice already. Every seed germinated! Fantastic flavor! I will purchase again and can't wait to try other varieties that they have.
Trevor
This is my first time growing sprouts of any kind and I’ll say it was super easy and super successful! These seeds got the job done and I will definitely be repurchasing.
Sharene Oldham
Takes time to grow the sprouts.

These seeds germinate and grow very well. My first time I left a bit of water on the seeds and didn't get great germination. Then I made sure to drain water well and achieved almost 100% germination. Rinse and drain well every 8 hours and you will have beaucoup sprouts.
matt h.
I've used a few different varieties of broccoli sprouts. They have all been good. I can't tell a difference between them.
SLP
Love these tasty sprouts.
Rhonda
The taste was good once they sprouted but a large portion did not. And then there was the smell, had to move everything out on to the porch. I was using mason jars covered with cheese cloth, this has been successful with sprouting other kinds of seeds but never had to deal with that smell before or the high failure to germinate except in very old seeds. That may also explain the smell

Home Grown Garden's Broccoli Seeds for Sprouting are the best ever! As a duo who enjoys 1/4 cup broccoli sprouts daily (frozen following fresh growing) we have had super success with Home Grown Garden's sprouts. It's even fun watching them sprout tails and grow like wildfire throughout the week, especially when soaking up afternoon sun!
Thanks much for making such a fine product available and keep up the great contribution to plant-based life styles. HRR & AJH

I sprout these for my finches. I think every seed sprouts. They love them.

Amazon was out of the other brand that I had previously purchased. I still had seeds left from the other brand and put those in one of the jars and in the other two jars I put these seeds. THESE totally out produced the other brand that I had purchased. Will be buying this brand from now on. They really produced nice sprouts!!!!
Natalie Cerny
They're ready in 5 days and a delicious addition to any salad, taco, or smoothie!

Using for health bonuses.

These are super easy to grow without much effort! Having a mason jar with a mesh lid makes this super easy! No soil needed! No mess! No cleanup! I put a heaping table spoon full of seeds in a small mason jar with a mesh lid I got on Amazon. I rinsed them with water, and then turned the mason jar upside down to let it drip dry. I kept it in a dark cubboard for 2 days and then placed it in front of a sunny window for another 2 - 3 days. I rinsed them with water 2 - 3 times each day, and then let them drip dry. Voila!
I put them as a topping on salads, or make my simple rice and protein look super fancy. They are tiny but give beautiful pop of texture and freshness to any meal and are packed with beneficial nutrients! A+
Diana Lina
These are fresh seeds, sprout fully & I always try to have a batch on hand for salads & omelets. And the shipping was super fast, only a few days. Thanks!

Grew as expected however I couldn’t make myself eat it as it was extremely bitter

The sprouts turned out great.

Have stated using the three tray method to grow in my grow tent. I water from the bottom and have never had an issue with these seeds!

Not sure why I ordered this brand, but very pleased that I did! This is day two after soaking and rinsing. No sprouting tray. Just a container with paper towels. Looks like very few seeds if any are not sprouted! Will update in a few days! Thanks for an awesome product.

I’ve grown microgreens a few times before but I’m new at growing broccoli sprouts. I grew these broccoli sprouts in a mason jar with a drainage lid & drip tray. Approx 80% sprouted & that’s pretty good on my 1st attempt. However, I do suggest that you do a little research about growing broccoli sprouts before you jump right in. It is very helpful to read a couple of blogs to learn tips & tricks to growing them. I also found helpful videos on YouTube as well. The only negative with this package is that the instructions are super basic & you will need more information to be successful at growing them.

Fantastic Product. Grew these in 5 days from seeds. Wonderful taste & extremely healthy. Every seed grew wonderfully!

Easy to grow, I will buy these again.
sandra
I used this for salad toppings, omelets soups.
bonn ramsey
I was impressed that nearly all these seeds sprouted. Good quality & little loss from dead seeds.
RNJ
Very pleased with these seeds as they truly do have a high germination rate.
As this is the first bag of broccoli sprouts I’ve ever purchased, I can’t speak on them tasting better than other brands. I can say I really appreciate that the bag is resealable.
Scott Pickering
They sprout and grow very efficiently and they taste nice and fresh. I will definitely be buying more in the future, I would love to try the arugula or salad mix!
sandra
I grew some in a jar and some on the screened lid and some in a plastic dish. They all grew very well. 5-6 days total.

easy to hull, exactly what I wanted for simple routine to grow and great nutrition

Home Grow Heirloom Broccoli Seeds are non-gmo and have provided a bounty of broccoli sprouts. I am amazed at the high germination compared with the other brand I was using. The taste is zesty, and delicious. They are nutritious and very satisfying eaten alone or on a sandwich or even as an addition to my smoothie. I highly recommend Home Grown brand of broccoli seeds.

As a cancer survivor sprouts are part of my toolbox against recurrence. One tablespoon produces enough sprouts for one person for a few days and tastes great! Much cheaper to grow at home on a windowsill than to buy at the grocery store for $4 the small barquette.
Paige Turner
I think this was user error not the fault of the product. When I initially tried this they sprouted quickly but then they seemed to grow a mold. I think they were almost too wet. I'm going to try this again in the spring when I van place them under more sunlight. I think the lack of light may have been my problem.
Amazon Customer
Very happy with this product, will be ordering again! Good taste, all as advertised.

Used a paper medium on a sheet pan, add water daily to keep moist.
They smell a little bit nothing to worry about.

I have made an easy transition from newbee sprout grower, to relaxed and enjoying it greatly. I've transitioned to Green Drinks as part of my daily regiment and believe it or not, I'm losing weight and feel like if I just flapped my arms, I should be able to fly.

I have been growing these seeds into microgreens using a mason jar. I like that I can rinse them easily and can shake out what I want to use.
The first time I used these I used too many thinking it was not enough, and they really filled up the jar and became harder to get out. I have learned to just use 2 table spoons (sometimes 1) and this makes it so easy to grown and use.
These turn out great! When they are as big as I want them to grow, I add them to a container with a paper towel and put them into the fridge.
Gratefulness
I like these seeds after soaking in distilled water and then growing hydro-phonically. They sprouted quickly and grew fast with the addition of grow lights on the second day after sprouting in the trays. I will update after using more and towards the end of the package if the results turn out differently but I highly recommend them after my first time of use.

It’s sprouting well enough to give me a steady crop of microgreens.

These didn't grow for me - we're in the wrong area, I think, and have too much shade in our garden, besides. But I do wish the vendor had provided the growing instructions on the sales site, so I would have known that we weren't likely to be successful.
You must start the seeds in a a shady place at room temperature. Since we live on the forested, swampy front porch of Hell, the only place at room temperature is inside our home (and we keep it at 78F in an effort to be eco conscious). That part went fine, although the only ideal spot was a bathroom - extra damp due to showers.
After three days, you move the sprouts outside, where they require indirect sunlight to grow. We don't have indirect sunlight; our choices are no sunlight, or scorching sunlight, throughout the day. That's where we lost our sprouts. We tried areas where we get no sunlight, but apparently broccoli sprouts can tell the difference - they offered us moldy roots with sadly scorched hoods. Poor things never really had a chance.
I'm glad to know, and not surprised, they grow well in other areas according to other reviewers - our climate, and our plot, is unusual. We certainly got plenty of seeds to work with, so the number of stars I gave is based on that, with one star removed due to the web site documentation issue. It would have made a difference to see those growing instructions in advance, so I could make an assessment and not wasted my time, or those poor seeds.

Very easy to grow! My dog love it too :)
ANN MCCORMACK
We love these sprouts. They grow very fast. We have them in our sandwiches every noon. The hulls come off very easily. Fill the jar with cool water, give it a little shake and they all float to the top. Then I scoop them out with a spoon.

Good germination rate easily grows. Very pleased.

Again, I could not find the seeds locally. And knowing all the benefits of cruciferous vegetables, I wanted to sprout broccoli! These seeds came quickly. They take a day longer than alfalfa to sprout but well worth the wait! Use on salads, top a sandwich. I am using these weekly and will reorder.

I'm strict keto so I can't do bean sprouts, these are an excellent texture replacement but do have a different flavor.
They grow very fast so plan your needs accordingly. Good planting/harvesting info on the pkg.

These were viable looking and they have sprouted and almost ready to harvest. Worth the money

I wanted these sprouts for my sandwiches because you can’t find them at the restaurants near where I live anymore. These are great for sandwiches and salads.
There are a lot of seeds in this bag and they grow fast. You don’t need a lot of soil and a small clay pot works fine. However, I am saving half the bag for later on incase the food at my local grocery stores becomes more limited and then I have these seeds to grow more sprouts very quickly for my whole family. I think having seeds like this to grow a small port now is great, but it’s also smart to have some in storage for emergencies. These seeds can be easily stored in the bag for later on.
Over all, these are great seeds and are easy to grow with little effort. This is some high quality nutrition for juicing, smoothies or sandwiches.

My wife said yes and that's five stars.

Not going to go into all of the benefits of sprouting. If you're doing it you know why. And a lot of the other reviews tell you a lot of the benefits already. This will be a very quick review just about these seeds.
I was just looking for non-GMO high-quality USA origin seeds.
These met that criteria now all they had to do was grow.
Put 2 tablespoons in a Mason jar five days later it was bursting with sprouts.
You can't ask for more.
Good seeds fair price I will be buying more.
Shannon Zolar
These have started really well in my aqua garden and I'm excited to see how well they do when its time to move them out and give them room to grow
Sherry Hayes
This is a US company so we highly support it--and, the product is great! Sprouts are so terrific in almost everything, and these are not exception. There is a bit of a learning curve to growing them, but if you can keep up the rinsing routine, you should be fine. It helps to watch some videos and get some advice (maybe watch the video from the manufacturer) before you start. Great science experiment for the kids!

I used mason jars for these seeds and in only 5 days my jars were full of beautiful, healthy, delicious broccoli sprouts. So happy to have ordered them!!
Sarita Loves Living
I really enjoy these broccoli sprouts. I decided to try them after trying the alfalfa seeds and salad mix from the same brand. Like I did with the others, I put these in my automatic bean sprouter and was able to harvest delicious broccoli sprouts within 10 days. All the seeds I used so far sprouted and they taste good. I'd order these again. The price for what you get is better than other brands I've had so I think it's a good value for the money. I highly recommend these seeds.
Cat's Eye
I have gotten several seed varieties from this company, and so far they have all performed well. The germination rate is decent. I could not tell you exactly how well, but they seem to be coming up for the most part. They list growing instructions on the back of the package if needed. I would get them again.
Steve’s Reviews
Good broccoli sprouts. I have been growing my own sprouts for quite a few years now. I love adding them to my salads mainly but also to other dishes as well. Sprouts are reported to have more nutritional value than the full grown vegetable itself. These are fairly easy to make. Seems to have a decent germination rate. Overall nothing to complain about. Seems to be a good product.
Kat Hooper
You probably already know that broccoli sprouts are extremely nutritious. My family has been sprouting them in a seed sprouter four months. These have a great germination rate, are super easy to grow, and are tasty and nutritious.

I USE THE WIDE MOUTH QUART JAR TO MAKE MY SPROUTS. IT REALLY DOES TAKE ONLY 5 DAYS AND THEY ARE VERY TASTY ON SANDWICHES AND SALADS. AND JUST THINK ABOUT THE NUTRIENTS YOU ARE GETTING AND IT IS SO EASY! I EVEN DROP A FEW IN MY GREEN SMOOTHIE FOR BREAKFAST. I TRY TO KEEP THEM IN THE FRIDGE ALL THE TIME. THANKS FOR A SUPERBE PRODUCT!
Bookwyrm
These Home Grown seeds are marked non-GMO and Heirloom. They seem fresh, but there is no Best By date, which is a pretty big lack, imo. So far, these have germinated really well, though, as you can see from the pictures. And the sprouts were absolutely delicious!

Seemed a bit on the pricey side for the amount of seeds but maybe sprouting seeds have gone up considerably in price in the last couple of years, which is the last time I bought broccoli seeds to sprout.

I am very excited about my first attempt at growing microgreens. I have both salad sprouts and broccoli sprouts from this company. Salad Sprouts: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B09RB4DV1S I am using 5” x 7” glass containers with lids because I already had two of them. I decided to start one type before the other so that when I was finished with the first, I could eat the other while the first type was growing again. The grow medium I used, which I have reviewed, was also purchased from Amazon. The link is: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B08M13Q1KN/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o07_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
After the initial planting, when I removed the lid from the container, I worried that I may have over watered because I saw white stuff that I mistook for mold. I researched and learned that the white webbing is common and harmless and disappears at the sprouts grow. I am showing photos of both containers. Both have a way to go but you can see that the salad sprouts are ahead of the broccoli sprouts. Both look healthy and grow each day.

This is the first time I’ve had broccoli sprouts, but it sure won’t be the last! Mung beans I’ve sprouted successfully in jars many times and I have a set of “sprouting jars,” but what they really are are two quart size mason jars with screens in place of the lids. What makes the sprouter “cool” if you will, is that the stand that comes with it holds the jars in a position to drain the excess water. I digress. These seeds sprouted according to all the instructions I read at various places online. And at a similar rate to the mung beans which I sprouted alongside them. I’m big on frequent rinsing which is key to a safe product. Do check the recommendations. I found that in the jar, they tended to clump a bit but I just sort of fluffed them with a fork. This may be why I mostly saw them sprouting in tray-type arrangements? I’d imagine that they’d be just as delicious either way. And they were, we ate them up immediately. Enjoy!

I used to grow my own microgreens until life got in the way. When I was offered this to try, I knew not only would my kids and I enjoy it, but also my bearded dragons and canaries.
I am used to having about a 50% growth rate in the past so that was about what I was expecting. To my surprise, we have easily almost all of the seeds growing. That alone makes it worth the money!
Sprouts grew and greened nicely, taste as expected. Can't ask for more!

8oz Broccoli Seeds for Sprouting - High Germination Broccoli Sprouting Seeds - Broccoli Sprout Seeds Rich in Sulforaphane, Nutritious Microgreens Seeds - Broccoli Sprouts in 5 Days
So much to learn about sprouting broccoli seeds! I love sprouts and thought these broccoli seeds would be extra nutritious, especially sprouted at home. I didn't have appropriate sprout implements but thought I could use my Mason pint jar and a piece of cheesecloth as the sprouts require frequent flushing. I used about a tablespoon of seeds and followed the sprouting directions. The directions, however, fall a bit short on information. I did see some sprouting within about 6 days and having rinsed often with purified water, decided to harvest on day 10. My hubby is not a sprout fan, but I made a turkey sandwich and sprinkled these sprouts liberally between lettuce, turkey, and cheese. To my surprise, he didn't realize he was eating sprouts and pronounced them tasty when I told him. Success! Something healthy and it was fun to learn how to do the sprouts--lots of seeds--could actually rotate harvests given sprouting to harvest time. I still have enough sprouted greens for another meal and can't wait to begin a new batch. SOOO tasty! Now I need to find sprouting lids.
Danice
I like the bag since it’s resealable, it’s really easy to grow and they go great with salads

Soaked the seeds and then put them on growing paper and they grew nicely. They we’re yummy! I’ll get these again
Jim Morton ( wchimesjim)
If you’re buying these then you already know the health benefits. Also, there’s lots of online videos for growing instructions, it’s very simple. I use 3 mason jars and in about 5 days I can make enough for almost two weeks, which I keep refrigerated. I add them to all dinners, and just mix them in fresh. They are extra good on a sandwich of course. You’re not really eating these for taste as much as for giving your body one of the most valuable and nutritious foods available. I placed these in one jar, along with two jars of my normal brand and they performed identically. Two tablespoons of seeds and a full jar of sprouts. See my photos of the process. They’re good seeds, good germination and taste. They are clean seeds and the price is good too. Try them !
KatyKatMidwest
These look great! I am happy with tue manufacturing and trust the source.
I can't try them out yet, as we are still waiting on our sprouting trays to arrive. If we have any problems with them, I will update my review.

We use growing frames designed for microgreens and these sprouted reliably and grew well.
